I recently visited The Irish Village with friends, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The ambiance really stood out – it almost felt like I was back in the UK. They’ve done a fantastic job of recreating that authentic pub-style atmosphere, complete with an open hall, live concerts, and performances that add to the lively vibe.
For sports lovers, the large display TVs showing football and other games make it a perfect hangout spot. We ordered noodles, fish and chips, along with juice and beer – everything was fresh and delicious. The fish and chips, in particular, had that classic taste you’d expect in a traditional UK pub.
The only thing to note is that the prices are on the higher side, roughly comparable to what you’d pay in the UK once converted to AED. That said, the overall experience, food quality, and vibrant setting make it well worth a visit.

Unfortunately, my visit to Irish Village was quite disappointing. The place was very quiet — not the lively, welcoming vibe you’d normally expect. To make matters worse, the two staff members on duty seemed more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to customers. They barely acknowledged us, and at the end, even seemed a bit upset that no tip was left — despite the lack of service. Overall, not an experience I’d rush to repeat.

Stepping into The Irish Village feels like a little slice of Dublin right in the heart of Dubai. With its charming brickwork, cobbled pathways, and wooden interiors, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and authentic. It’s a go-to spot for social gatherings, especially with its spacious outdoor seating and the buzz of live music filling the air. The pub vibe is classic yet inviting, ideal for both casual catch-ups and bigger celebrations. The service is friendly, the drinks selection is impressive, and the overall experience is one of comfort and community. Whether you're enjoying a laid-back evening or watching a game on the big screen, this place always delivers on energy and heart.

Visited for a walk and loved the peaceful, charming atmosphere. The Irish Village has a lovely outdoor setting with a relaxing vibe—great place to stroll, enjoy the greenery, and take in the pub-style surroundings. Worth a visit even if you’re not dining!

A Must-Visit for Crispy Pork Knuckles Lovers!

Absolutely loved my dining experience here! The Crispy Pork Knuckles are a standout – perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and a must-try dish for anyone visiting. You can tell it’s a house specialty.

Our server Andy was very polite, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The ambience of the place is also worth mentioning – cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal.

Overall, amazing food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Can you believe there’s a place in Dubai that feels like it’s been teleported straight from Ireland? This traditional Irish pub is full of character—from the vintage frames and deep-toned walls to the cozy chairs and charming little details. Every corner felt like a mini time capsule, and honestly, I wanted to sit everywhere just to take it all in.

The terrace? Massive. There are several outdoor areas, and one even has a huge screen playing football—perfect for catching a game with a cold pint in hand. The vibe was relaxed and cozy, making it ideal for good convos, people-watching, or just soaking in the weather.

Bonus points for the location too: it’s next to a tennis court, a nice restaurant, and even a garden—making it a low-key romantic spot if you’re out on a date. Oh, and don’t miss happy hour! Totally worth checking the schedule in advance.

If you’re in Dubai and craving something unique (and photogenic), this spot is a must.

Service was not okay. These days nobody provide a credit card going “somewhere”. As I denied - it worked at well without giving to the waiter. Food and ambience good, live music was only vocals life, guitarist sound without playing the guitar

This place has a fun atmosphere. They have tons of both indoor and outdoor seating. They play the games on big TVs. The food was pretty good, but not good enough for me to want to come back. The atmosphere was worth coming back for though. Servers were great bits good for groups or individuals.

Absolutely wonderful place to have a few drinks with friends. It's my go-to place when going for a drink with a friend new to Dubai or just in general

The outdoor atmosphere is wonderful in the winter months. The indoor is great too and reminds you of a proper pub in Europe. Food is pretty great too.

Lovely place, with different bars and restaurants in the complex. I can see this place is bustling during winter when it's so nice to sit outside.
There was a live band during my visit and it was nice. Not too crowded presumably because of summer and half of Dubai is out of the country.
Food was okay, nothing special, it's basic bar food. Service is great and the order came quickly, again because it's not too crowded.
Would love to come back in winter and just chill on their outdoor seating.

It is an exceptional dining experience. It was truly a delightful evening and such a fantastic atmosphere. The option of both outdoor and indoor seating is a great feature, allowing guests to choose their preferred setting. The ambience was truly remarkable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the lively and inviting atmosphere throughout the evening. One of the highlights of my evening was the live music. The performers did an exceptional job of creating a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. The music perfectly complemented the dining experience, adding an extra touch of enjoyment to the evening. The food was simply outstanding! The dishes I ordered were not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavor. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. It's evident that your chefs are skilled at their craft, and I thoroughly relished every bite.

Overall, I had an incredibly enjoyable time at the restaurant. The combination of a welcoming environment, live music, and delectable food makes it a standout dining destination. I will certainly be recommending your restaurant to friends, family, and colleagues who appreciate a memorable dining experience.

Went here on a weekday evening and had a good time. Good vibe, nice outdoor seating to enjoy cool weather while having peaceful conversations and sipping drinks. Menu is slightly overpriced but understandable given the high maintenance costs. Staff is courteous but service is on slower side.

Went on a Tuesday evening. Very good service. Good food. Crispy pata was available ... we ordered it (Filipino thing) and it was large and good. Also a large fish and chips ... (never tried the mushy peas.) Overall as very nice ...

My favorite place to hangout with my girls. The ambience is amazing be it indoor or out. The food is amazing especially their wings. Their cocktails are really good too. Sitting outside gives a nice view of the water, the fountain with lots of greenery.

Such a good looking place. Many different varieties of beer available. Food is really good too. A small pond is also nearby where you can see ducks just relaxing by the water.
I would suggest to drop by during the evening hours.

This is an all-time favourites for everybody who has been in Dubai for a long time. They have maintained the quality of service for more than 10 years even before I was here, I heard stories about this place when Dubai was still a desert and they have endured. I really love the roaming ducks, They are so cute to watch and so soothing on the green grass. This place always hosts outdoor concerts as well as bands that play during the weekend. During good weather in Dubai it is really nice to unwind in the sun while having a beer or lunch. Make sure to give it a try. It is also right next to the tennis stadium where  you can enjoy some really nice matches.

Been going to the Irish village for 18 years. What a shambles. I sat in the non-smoking area. While there, the server came and removed the "no smoking sign" so 2 people could smoke. Words don't describe! Complained. The manager, also one of Dubai's finest looked lost and quite unconcerned. For the amount they get paid, not sure I'd care either. I blame it on the owners. Food is substandard but edible after 5 pints. Restaurant is full of servers waiting to get better jobs or death. Whichever comes first. Thank goodness I have other options in Dubai where I live. Steer clear. Convenient is all I can say about the Irish village. Oh, as a foot note, don't complain on the website....think it was updated in 2012.

The Irish Village in Garhoud, Dubai is the place I go to when I want to recharge with great food, long conversations and live music. A friend introduced me to this place for casual dining and I was immediately smitten by its Irish memorabilia, wooden furnishings, picturesque outdoor space and delectable food. 

The restaurant never disappoints and all the guests I have hosted there have really liked it. The menu has many options; portion sizes are good and meals are tasteful.

It’s generally busy but hunting for a table is worth the experience. Despite the crowd, you can enjoy a sense of privacy. For a few hours, you get transported to an intriguing, new world where it is easy to unwind after a long, hard week.

Very nice staff albeit can be slow when they are busy. Irish village can get very busy. The drinks selection is very good, very large selection of good beers. The fish and chips was very nice, the 300g portions was huge , if you order this be hungry. Very good place to meet people and easy to find. Taxis waiting out front when you depart. Always one of our stops when in Dubai

This is a very relaxed venue with very good service. The staff are very attentive and when your beer gets low they're there offering top-ups in without any delay. There was very good live music yesterday which was not intrusive and not to quiet either. There's a great party area fur the kids and some decent swing-chairs by the lake. I'd recommend this place for people who fancy copious decent beers. There's plenty of seating and the Guinness was very good!
