Family Package at Hungarian Games Escape Rooms

We went for the escape games as a team from the office and tried ‘Jailbreak’—the hardest level! With teamwork, we solved all the clues, and it was so much fun. We also played giant snakes and ladders, tried other board games, and enjoyed mocktails and snacks. The staff are helpful and give hints when needed. Highly recommended for groups—try the detective/murder mystery game too!

We stopped by Hungarian Games after our pottery class and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with board games on hand and the option to try the escape rooms (still on our list for next time!). For us, the highlight was the food—especially the Norwegian-inspired smørrebrød and soups. Fresh, tasty, and such a treat when you’re missing a little bit of “home” flavors in Dubai. The staff was attentive and kind, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you want a quiet spot for quality time, to indulge in comfort food, or to have fun with games, this is a place worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back—for both the food and the escape rooms!

Extremely Disappointing – Not Worth the Money We paid 600 AED expecting a premium escape room experience — what we got was two very basic rooms with no immersion, minimal atmosphere, and barely any puzzles. It felt low-effort and not worth the price. I contacted Hungarian Games privately to request a refund. They responded once with excuses and refused, then replied again only after I posted public comments — warning me about “cyber defamation” for sharing my honest experience. And they also delted the comments i wrote on their Instagram posts. No one insulted anyone. I simply explained what we paid for and what we actually got. That’s not defamation — that’s consumer feedback. There are far better escape room options in Dubai. This one wasn’t worth it.

The place is fun for group to play some escape rooms and board games. They have plenty of roams and large area but the rooms do have alot of wear and tear and are quite basic compared to other ones in the market. They do have a 50 discount on discount cards. The staff are lovely and friendly.
